Education
St Peter School
To believe in Catholic Education is to believe in the future. Today’s students are tomorrow’s leaders. Our goal is to educate young people to respect life, discipline the use of intelligence, develop responsibility and live a Christian life.
We think of education as a growth process. Intellectual development and growth as a Christian go hand in hand. At St. Peter School, we service the individual student to become all that he/she can be, to go forth and be an example of Christian living and academic excellence.
St Peter School PTO
Saint Peter School PTO helps the school, its students, and our church through financial contributions and volunteer hours. Fundraisers including basket bingo, Saturday night bingo, and have funded class trips, new computers, and playground equipment, as well as other school and parish needs. The money generated by these fundraisers has eliminated the need for students to do individual sales. We provide chaperons for class trips, cafeteria help, and recess monitors. PTO gives everyone the opportunity to meet people and have fun while helping our school and parish community.
Educational Advisory Board
Saint Peter School Board, an elected advisory panel, has subcommittee opportunities for support positions for technology, marketing, and fundraising. Volunteers are needed to assist in maintaining existing programs and to provide recommendations for potential enhancements. We value your expertise and welcome involvement from all parishioners. We work with you to accommodate your schedule and commitment level.
Religious Education
Our Religious Education program is not just for our children. We have a great need in our parish to fulfill our obligation to the adult community. Our purpose is to provide education and spiritual formation in the Catholic faith to all members of our parish family. This encompasses who we are, what we believe and how we live out those beliefs.
Scripture Study
Using the Missalettes, the Scripture Study group reflects on the scripture readings for the upcoming Sunday in order to better understand them, celebrate them, live them, and pray them. Join us Tuesday evenings from 7 - 8:30pm.
