The Thanksgiving holiday allows us to share a sumptuous meal with our families, kick back to watch some football, and catch up on some much needed rest while we fall into our turkey comas. We have so much to be grateful for. God has been so good to us and the Year of Mercy, which ends this weekend, has reminded us how blessed we are to have a merciful and loving God. As we prepare for Thanksgiving, may we redouble our commitment to our Lord, Jesus, who is not only King of the Universe but also the ruler of our lives and hearts. May the mercy shown to us transform us into the ambassadors of mercy our families, community, and world need us to be.
Peace, Fr. Steve
