With nothing “major” to report this last week, work on the Building Committee moves forward. With the borings completed and the results of the storm water testing in the engineers hand, a plan of action will be developed for the building ground based upon those test results. Preparations to ensure the appropriate local approvals are also developing. It’s important to note that there are many local government entities that all play a role in our building plan approval process – Mount Joy Township, the Lancaster Planning Commission, the Lancaster County Conservation District, the Elizabethtown Regional Sewer Authority and the Elizabethtown Area Water Authority. We have been fortunate thus far to have an excellent engineering firm to work with who is our interface with all these entities! We have consistently followed the “process” and it has worked well. As the upcoming weeks and months unfold, we will continue to report and inform all of our progress!
