What is scrip? Scrip is simply another word for Gift Certificate and it is a fund raiser for St. Peter Parish. We purchase gift cards from local and national merchants. We pay a reduced rate for the gift card and and then sell them to our parishioners at their face value. The difference between the reduced rate and the face value is the amount retained by St. Peter Church.
How can scrip be purchased? Scrip can be purchased after mass on Sundays, at the Church office during business hours Monday-Friday and through St. Peter School. There is over 1000 participating merchants and we keep approximately 80 different merchant gift cards on hand at all times. If a merchant gift card must be ordered, all orders are placed on Monday and available by Thursday. Below are two links that provide all available merchants and our Parish order form.
