Extraordinary Ministers of Communion

Extraordinary Ministers of Communion serve at each Mass on Sunday and other times when needed. They also minister to shut-ins. One must at least be a senior in high school, attended a Diocesan workshop and attended training at the parish. One must be a Catholic in good standing (participate in the sacraments and, if applicable, be in a valid marriage).

Lectors

Lectors must be at least a junior in high school, verbally fluent and attend a parish training session. One must be a Catholic in good standing.

Ushers

Ushers assist with seating, collecting the gifts, and provide an orderly worship environment for communion. Most of all they seek to make everyone feel welcome.

Altar Servers

Altar servers assist the priest at Mass. Altar servers for the New Church start at the age of 11 and remain on the schedule until their senior year in high school.
